Yes, however, after signing a letter of intent, we will support approved franchisees in their hunt for a location based on their needs and requirements.
Subject to approvals from the authorities, it typically takes around three to four months to get up and running.
Depending on the size of the outlet and its operating costs, the investment capital ranges from around AED 900k to AED 1 million for a 1,000 sq. ft shop for a shop with Freshplus and Bakeria/Café Arabicca. For only a Bakeria/Café Arabicca, the cost is around AED500k – AED600k.
This includes shop design, fit-out, equipment, franchise fee, initial stock, licensing, and staff hiring costs.
The initial contract period is for five years, with exactly four consecutive terms of five years and no renewal fee.
Franchise fees are USD 22,000 (AED 80,000) per brand and if you obtain rights for all brands (Freshplus with Bakeria/Café Arabicca), the total franchise fee is USD 33,000 (AED 120,000), The fees must be paid on signing the franchise agreement.
Royalty fees are 2.5% of total sales for Freshplus with a 1% marketing fee. The fee is 5% for Bakeria with 1% marketing fees. All royalty fees are paid monthly on gross sales.
The cost of equipment needed to fit out a Bakeria outlet ranges from AED 200,000 to AED 250,000. Freshplus ranges from AED 300,000 to AED 350,000.
The Freshplus gross margin ranges between 23-25%, Bakeria is fixed at 50%, and Café Arabicca is 70%. ROI is typically between 2.5 to 3 years.

The first step is to fill in a franchise application form which should be submitted by e-mail, after which you may be invited for a meeting with the franchise team to further discuss the franchise process and your application.
Our target locations are retail spaces in the lobbies of commercial complexes, residential buildings, or shopping centers and malls.
As part of the franchise fees, our design consultant provides you with several design and layout options to choose from.
We will advise on the number of staff and salary packages, which depends on the number of working hours and number of shifts.
You will be put into contact with Emarat network suppliers where you will receive direct deliveries to your shop. You will also benefit from stock at the Emarat cost price.
Most suppliers have payment terms of 30 days for orders above AED 1000/month. For orders less than AED 1000/month, it will be cash on delivery.
We are open to listing new products suggested by franchisees, however, every new product should be approved and listed by Emarat only.
All franchisees and their support teams will receive up to six weeks of intensive training, which includes: Freshplus operations, Bakeria training (product know how, baking methods, display, day-to-day procedures) and Café Arabicca training (coffee preparation, equipment handling, taste consistency).
Training also includes IT systems, inventory control, and staff management, covering all aspects of the business/ food/procedures.
All employees will be fully trained on Freshplus operations (opening, daily operations, closing, management, merchandising); Bakeria training (product know-how, baking methods, display, day-to-day procedures) and Café Arabicca training (coffee preparation, equipment handling, taste consistency).
Employees will also be trained on how to use IT systems, inventory control, staff management and all aspects of the business/food/procedures. This is in addition to continuous refresher training to existing staff on customer service and retail skills.
Yes, we provide two inventories and train franchisee staff and will provide ongoing support whenever required.
Yes. We conduct two big promotions every year, in addition to monthly c-store promotions and one Bakeria promotion. We can also participate in any local marketing activity activities carried out by franchisees in their area.
