  HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, inaugurated the “Shamil” center for Vehicle Testing services at the Shamil service station in Ajman.

Emarat is marketing Gas Oil (also known as Diesel fuel or D-2 fuel) through its Retail Outlets as well as directly to the users of the fuel. The fuel is used not only for Surface Transport of people and goods but also to produce power in power plants.
2006
  HE the UAE Minister of Energy and Chairman of Emarat, Mohamed Bin Dhaen Al Hamli, together with HE Sameh Fahmi, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, inaugurated the "Abu Rawash" service station in Giza, Egypt.

HE Mohamed Bin Dhaen Al Hamli, UAE Minister of Energy, officially inaugurated Emoil Petroleum Storage FZCO (Emoil) and Emdad Aviation Fuel Storage FZCO (Emdad).

Emarat and Dana Gas have entered into an agreement with to build, own and operate a 30 km, 48 inch, common-user gas pipeline from the Sharjah gas hub at Sajaa to the Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZ). The value of the contract is Dhs 670 m, and the gas pipeline will be one of the largest in the UAE, with a design capacity of one billion cubic feet of gas per day (1,000 MMscf/ day).
 
2005
  Emarat launches Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) at 16 selected service stations, to sort out, recycles and processes.

Emarat obtains three international certificates:
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems.
ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management Systems.
OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational Health & Safety
Management Systems.

Emarat inaugurated the "Fast Track" Service Centers for car repair and maintenance at a cost of Dhs. 25 million, in partnership with "World Automotive Group".

Emarat launches "Emarat Plus" at select service station within its fast growing retail network, which reflects an enhanced design, refined image and offer wide range of products services.

  Emarat launches Bakeria, a bakery offering full range of gourmet sandwiches and freshly baled bread.

Emarat achieves ISO 9001 certification and wins the Dubai Quality Award for Best Company of the Year ’98 in the Trade Category.

 
Emarat commissions an LPG bottling plant and a second aviation refuelling facility at Fujairah International Airport. Emarat is the first to offer Auto-Care Services at its service stations.

  Emarat commissions a first aviation fuelling centre at Sharjah International Airport.

The corporation buys a 20% stake in Melubco, a lubricant blending plant.

EGPC is relaunched as Emarat with a new corporate identity.

  Launch of community programmes including anti-drugs campaigns, road and public safety campaigns and sports sponsorship.

EGPC moves to environmentally-friendly new headquarters on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

  The corporation introduces ULTIMA Supreme Unleaded Fuel to the Middle East.

EGPC moves into the aviation refuelling sector with Emojet.
