During Its Successful Participation in the Middle East Franchise Expo 2014:
Emarat signs an agreement with World Franchise Associates, for the development and marketing
of its Franchise Brands
Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" has signed an agreement with WFA, the world’s leader in franchise marketing. According to this agreement, WFA will be executing an exclusive marketing program to commence marketing the franchising of Emarat's brands "Freshplus", "Bakeria" and "Café Arabicca".

Dr. Rahma bin Mohammed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Director, signed the agreement on behalf of Emarat, and Mr. Sary Hamway, Chief Operating Officer, signed on behalf of WFA.

In accordance with this agreement, WFA will be providing consultation to Emarat within the framework of an ambitious expansion program to achieve international and regional growth through franchising the brands.

Dr. Rahma said "We are looking to franchise our three brands regionally and internationally within the next few years, so that they will become one of the best known brands in the world of franchising. We are relying on Emarat's long history and experience, spaning over fifteen years in the field of convenience stores in the United Arab Emirates. Emarat was able to hold a big share of the UAE's market and to earn the customer's trust by providing the best of services and products."


On the other hand, the pavilion occupied by ‘Emarat’ during its participation in the Middle East Franchise Expo held on 21- 22 October 2104 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, had an overwhelming response and succeeded in attracting investors from different countries who showed interest in acquiring franchise rights to the Corporation's franchise brands "Freshplus", "Bakeria" and "Café Arabicca".
