"Emarat" Signs 5 "Bakeria" and "Fresh Plus "Franchise Agreements |

Emarat signed five agreements granting UAE investment firms the franchise of its brand "Bakeria" which is specialized in the light meals and pastry, and "Fresh Plus" which represents the modern concept of shopping in a sophisticated way.
Dr. Rahma bin Mohammed Al Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager at Emarat, said that pursuant to the agreements signed with investors, the first three "Fresh Plus" and first two "Bakeria" shops will be opened in the first quarter of the year 2010 in Dubai.
He said that both brands represent a promising opportunity for those looking forward to investing in promising and successful projects, given the corporation's technical and logistic support. This support includes the Retail Sales Management's initial help for the franchised investor which includes initial training programs for a period of 30-45 days. The first stage will also include training on management, operations, sales and marketing. The franchised investors will be trained in work site when the operation commences. Expert trainers from the management will be providing training services in site for a period of 1-2 weeks.
The management will provide constant support and training in areas that contribute to making the work a success, including operations, maintenance, customer service, product order process, pricing and other administrative procedures. Before settling on any new series, the management provides the franchised investor with guidelines that help in choosing the appropriate location, and such investor will have to abide by the guidelines to make sure the best location is chosen.
The management also coordinates matters related to developing advertising material and strategies for the interest of all shareholders in "Bakeria and Fresh Plus" chain, as well as providing the franchised investors with marketing plans and material used both on the local and regional level. The management has the right to approve any local advertising material developed by the franchised investor.
Al Shamsi explained that "Bakeria" brand derives its power from offering a wide variety of meals, pastry and fresh coffee, with a focus on quick service, a quality which helped attracting customers from all ages and nationalities. He also said that this is the first service of its kind in the UAE. The branches boast a total space amounting to 400-700 square feet, and serve more than 550 customer daily.
He also noted that "Fresh Plus" shop chain is another development of "Emarat Plus" shops, since the corporation has realized that the experience accumulated from offering different services in its stations might help the customers through presenting a diverse shop that helps people deal with the hectic rhythm of life.
